The lagoon is mostly used by Vezo Pirogue and offers tourists beautiful coral reefs and lonely beaches. The right time for humpback whale watching is from July to September.
We should not forget to mention for the visitors the sacred cave, the salty lake and the Baobabs forest.
THE ANAKAO PENINSULA, South of Tuléar
The ANAKAO peninsula is located in the south of Tulear.
You can reach the island after a short transfer by boat from Tulear. Because of its location, the island has a lot to offer: such as fantastic beaches, sailing on the sea and between the islands, visiting the mangrove forests and its surrounding area.
The small island of Nosy Vet, houses the unique colony of Tropicbirds in Madagascar.
Take the four-wheel drive to Beelike and visit the beautiful bay and the famous National Park of Tsimanampetsotsa, located at 25 km in the southeast of Beheloka. There, you can see the fishes and the pink flamingos, which hide in the caves of Mitoho. The dry forest is very striking.
